Description |
Remains of the launching bottle used by Mrs. Lacey to christen SS GREAT NORTHERN. Glass fragments in green netting. Red white and blue ribbons reading "CRAMPS SHIPYARD", "JULY 4, 1914", and "SS GREAT NORTHERN". The ship was launched in 1914 and served in both World Wars. It was scrapped in 1948. |
