Description |
Dinning tablecloth linen from Officers Mess. From the Lighthouse Tender Ship (USLHT) ROSE. Twisted rope design on linen. The ROSE was built in 1916 and based in Astoria, Oregon during World War I. It served until 1942. In the accession file a 1991 note states that the shell of the ROSE is now located on the south side of the Lake Washington Ship Canal at the foot of Etruria Street. |
