One tapestry/banner made of canvas with embroidered house flags of the Black Ball Line, Kitsap County Transportation Company, and Whidbey Transportation Company with a large compass in the center, surrounded by seagulls. The tapestry/banner has an embroidery thread fringe along the bottom. The tapestry belonged to Arthur Roosevelt Monson, a Lieutenant in the US Lighthouse Service and US Coast Guard who lived on Whidbey Island and worked in Puget Sound. The maker of banner is unknown. |
