Description |
Full hull model of steamer VERONA. Cemented, on display in glass case by R. C. Hitchcock, containing four models. Scale is 1/8"=1'. The VERONA was built in 1910. In 1916 the VERONA was carrying Industrial Workers of the World, an international trade union, to Everett. A mob was waiting for the VERONA, and a gun fight broke out. This became known as the Everett Massacre. The ship burned down in 1936 |
