Description |
Walking stick made from the deck planking of SS BEAVER. Made of dark wood with a metal end cap and knurled lower end. The BEAVER was the first steamship to operate in the Pacific Northwest. It was built in 1836 in order to survey the coastline of British Columbia. It ran aground in 1888. |
