Oil painting of SS MINNESOTA. 3/4 bow view of the port side. Standing by unknown sinking ship. The MINNESOTA has four flags flying. One has 'Minnesota', another says 'U.S. Mail', it also flies the Red Ensign flag of the UK, and the house flag for the Great Northern Steamship Company, blue flag with crossed white bars with a red circle in the middle with a white star. The MINNESOTA was built in 1903 as the USS TROY. It was scrapped in 1923. |
